We actively recognise and support our 162 students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

To ensure Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples have a voice and the opportunity to take part in, embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across all areas of the school, the school develops relationships with:

  • Traditional Custodians (Yugambeh people)
  • Community Elders
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Non-Government Organisations, and
  • the First Nations school community

Our school acknowledges the importance of building and maintaining authentic relationships and partnerships as being of fundamental significance to, and underpinning the school's Reconciliation agenda. This focus is instrumental to positive outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and genuine processes of embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
