Camps
Our Year 4 and 6 students engage in a fantastic range of new, exciting, outdoor based educational school camps in great surroundings. Both campsites provide students with cabins and toilet/bathroom facilities with a cafeteria.
Teachers along with camp staff provide students with a safe and interactive environment; and necessary equipment to enhance their experience - including making camp fun!
Our school camps cater to students with special needs – our activity programs can be modified to ensure inclusion for all students.
It is our goal to ensure every student has the opportunity to engage in team building challenges and activities. Students' confidence and Marsden spirit will excel.
Year 4 Camp- Apex Camp Mudjimba
Apex Camp Mudjimba is a destination to delight! Nestled in the Maroochy River Conservation Park just a short stroll to the pristine white sands of North Shore beach and the beautiful Maroochy River in tranquil Twin Waters, complete with resident kangaroos, this ten-acre site offers the perfect camp environment!
Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Radio Rogaine
- Low Ropes
- Mid Ropes and Flying Fox
- Canoeing
- Body Boarding
- Archery
- Bush Skills
Year 6 Camp- Camp Laurence – Moogerah Dam
Camp Laurence at Moogerah Dam was designed with education at its core. It fosters outdoor learning—challenging personal boundaries, connecting with nature, building friendships, and creating lifelong memories. That's what Moogerah Dam is all about.
Camp Laurence provides flexible, high-quality programs tailored to our needs. It offers a wide range of activities, including but not limited to:
- Low ropes/ Flying Fox
- Canoeing
- Fishing
- Archery
- Bush Skills – Cooking and Fire Safety
- Bush Walk/Hike
- Team Challenge Games – relays,
- field games, Aus Tag
- Team Flag Making
- Swimming

Incursions and ExcursionsIncursions and excursions are organised throughout the year by Year Level teachers. All incursions and excursions are linked to the curriculum programs and are used to enhance the students' learning and understanding of the subject and concepts being taught. All students are encouraged to participate in the incursions and excursions offered for their year level.
