Tolerance is a way of accepting people for who they are and not for what you want them to be. Tolerance teaches us to respect people for their beliefs and religion.
Each year, our school celebrates International Day of Tolerance by asking staff and students to:
- wear clothing significant to their culture to school on this internationally recognised day
- bring a plate of food and participate in a shared meal experience with their classmates and teacher
This day is a way to show our school's appreciation and acceptance of all within our community.
