Depending on students' interest, available programs, competitions and other current initiative, school-based academic extension or interest groups are offered. These groups currently include:
- STEM club,
- Debating,
- Maths Team Challenge,
- Lego
Pick of the Crop Program
In 2020, we were successful in our application to be part of the Pick of the Crop initiative. Pick of the Crop is a healthy eating program bringing Queensland state primary schools and farmers together to promote eating vegetables and fruit to students.
Homework Centre
In 2021, we were selected as one of two state primary school in South East Region to provide a Queensland Government established Homework Centre. Our Homework Centre will provide a supervised and suitable learning environment in which students can complete their homework before they go home. As spaces are limited, students must be registered before they can attend.
